August desert pics
We have finally had a monsoon season. Here are some pictures of the area outside of San Manuel, toward Peppersauce. These pics are for LVH, except for the one Ocotillo - that's for leaner.
I've been meaning to tell you how lovely it looks down there in the desert.. And thinking that maybe it's not as bad down there as I remember.. And then this morning there were not one but two stories on NPR about the horrific, record setting heat you've been dealing with this summer, and, well, it's lovely in the pictures.. :)
I have some questions about your town. A friend from my ward (I was her VT-er for a month before she decided to go away to college) is moving down there for college. I wanted to find out if they have college wards? singles branches, whatever? can you email me? amiedanny@msn.com thanks!

Wow it's so incredibly green. I don't remeber it looking like that very often. Beautiful!
